First, letโ€™s look at a classic knitting staple: the sweater.

This Washโ€™s Sweater uses Aran weight yarn and would be the perfect garment to knit with Steam undyed yarn. It has beautiful cables, and the double moss stitch panels create a lovely textural contrast. This pattern would use 7-8 skeins of Steam, so a pack of 10 skeins will leave you with extra to make a coordinating hat or gloves!

Wash's Sweater

Yarn Salcantay

This super cozy Metropolis sweater has a warm cowl neck and uses bulky yarn, meaning it will knit up quickly! This pattern perfectly pairs with our Salcantay yarn, which is bulky and superwash. Superwash yarn is a wonderful wearable option because you can wash it in your machine!

Metropolis Sweater

This Handsome Chris Pullover sweater is inspired by the iconic Fishermanโ€™s sweater that Chris Evans donned for his character. It is full of beautiful cable details and just begging to be knit in undyed yarn. This pattern would work perfectly with Marshmallow Worsted Select yarn. A full bag of 10 skeins should be sufficient for most sizes of this sweater!

latte

The Winter Garden Sweater is a fitted cropped sweater with the most lovely knitting at the bottom hem. This sweet boatneck sweater would be an excellent choice for Latte yarn. Latte undyed yarn is 100% Baby Alpaca, which is soft on your skin. With a sweater that fits snugly, you want the softest yarn against your skin all day!

Another option, if you want to knit up some wearables, is the duster! Dusters are long, loose-fitting coats or vests, and several options would pair well with some undyed yarn for keeping you warm around the house or out and about on a brisk morning!

prism

The Falling Waters Duster is lightweight and airy. This featherlight knit has fringe around the edges for additional style. Our Prism yarn is durable and soft and would be an excellent option for this duster. The twist in the Prism yarn will add additional texture to a beautiful pattern.

Fslling Waters Duster

The Summer Duster is a vest knitted with DK weight yarn on larger needles to create an open, airy layer. This delicate pattern is already shown in a beautiful shade of cream, just like the color of undyed yarn! Marshmallow DK Select is my recommendation for this pattern. The soft drape of this vest pattern would knit up beautifully, and the durability of superwash wool is a bonus!

Summer Jacket Duster

Dresses are fantastic options for a large knitting project. The garment size makes them challenging, but they are rewarding when you finish them! Letโ€™s look at some dresses that would be stunning in undyed yarn.

The 12. Dress pattern has the most delightful bodice detail with lacy diamonds from shoulders to waist, and the detail extends to the elbows on the sleeve! The visual interest created by the stitches would shine in undyed yarn. This would be a great dress to knit in Spark, 100% fine organic merino wool. Merino wool is soft and warm and glides right off your knitting needles.

The V-Neck Resort Dress is a simple tank dress with effortless quality. Knitting a dress for brisk nights on a tropical vacation combines the warmth of wool and the coolness of a tank top. This would be a wonderful layering piece under your favorite jacket! This pattern would look beautiful in our Steam undyed yarn. Steam is 80% fine superwash merino wool and 20% baby alpaca combining the softness of baby alpaca with the strength and resilience of superwash wool.
