General Terms

1. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all shipments that Schmeichel-Partner sends to customers. We hereby contradict any differing terms and conditions our business partners may apply. All additional agreements need to be confirmed by us in writing. By placing a written (may also be by fax or email) or oral order with us, you automatically accept our terms and conditions. This also applies to orders placed directly in our online shop and at the latest by the time the partner, who placed the order, takes over our goods.

3. Offer and Conclusion of the Purchasing Contract
3.1 The presentation of our products in our online shop is not a legally binding offer, but an invitation to make an offer. Errors excepted.
3.2 By clicking the „buy now“ button in the last step of our ordering process, you place a binding order for the goods listed on the order form. Your order represents an invitation to us to conclude a purchasing contract with you. When placing an order with us, we will send you an email in which we confirm that we have received your order and which lists the items you have ordered with us (order confirmation). This order confirmation does not represent the acceptance of your invitation, but is just an information for you that we have received your order. The purchasing contract is only concluded when we ship the ordered products to you and confirm that shipment with a second email to you (shipping confirmation). For products of the same order which are not listed on the shipping confirmation, no valid purchasing contract is concluded.

4. Prices
Prices stated on our product web pages are net prices. For German customers, the statutory VAT is added at the end of the ordering process.

5. Shipping
5.1 Our standard shipping partner to German partners is DHL, to European partners it is Fedex. Shipping outside EU is done with varying shipping partners.
5.2 Delivery time
The standard delivery time for goods in stock is 2-4 working days (within Germany). Should a different shipping period apply, this is explicitly stated on the respective product website. Should a delay in shipping occur, we will inform our customers as soon as possible.

6. Payment
6.1 Payment is to be done either by Prepayment via bank transfer, on invoice by bank transfer, by Paypal or Secupay Credit Card. For payments on invoice, the payment time is 21 days. For first orders, payment on invoice is not admitted.
6.2 The right of offsetting only applies if your claim has been approved by the respective court or is undisputed or is accepted by us in writing.
6.3 The right of retention may only be executed if your claims result from the same contract.

7. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until they are paid in full.

8. Warranty
Warranty is subject to legal regulations. For all defects that become obvious during the legal warranty period of 2 years, you have the right of supplementary performance. You may chose between removal of defect or replacement and – if the legal preconditions are fulfilled – you have the right for diminution or rescission as well as compensation for loss suffered.

Special Offers

All sales, special offers, and promo code offers on the web site are subject to the following terms and conditions:

• Offers expire at 11:59 pm EDT on the sale end date.
• Sale prices and promo codes are valid for in-stock merchandise only. Sale prices or promotional offers cannot be applied to previous orders in which the transaction has already been completed, or on back-ordered merchandise.
• Promo codes are applied to the subtotal before shipping charges and taxes are added, and do not include the price of any free item being offered.
• Regular shipping charges apply. If an order falls below the free shipping threshold after the promo code has been applied, you will be charged for shipping.
• Downloadable merchandise does not apply towards a minimum purchase for promo code use.
• Unless otherwise stated, promo codes may only be used for one purchase.
• One promo code per order.
• All promotional and wholesale programs are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

Risk of Loss

We urge our customers to request Signature Confirmation on all orders, which means that your order will not be delivered unless you sign for it.  Please know that Knomad cannot be held liable for packages delivered to the address, but not received.  When you place an order with Knomad, by submitting payment you acknowledge that your order will be shipped by a third-party carrier, and that when we deliver your order to the carrier, the risk of loss of your merchandise passes to the purchaser alone. As much as we wish we could, unfortunately, we cannot hand deliver your yarn! Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any shipping or fulfillment issues that arise, we will do our best to help.

Website Use Information

Our website utilizes a standard technology called cookies and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. Information gathered through these means may include date and time of visits, pages viewed, time spent at our website, and websites visited just before and just after our website. Security

Your payment and personal information are always safe when you purchase from Knomad. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address so that it cannot be read over the internet.  In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions. You may access and revise your personal information on the website once you log onto the site.

Sharing Information and Privacy

We do not allow other companies to advertise on our website, nor do we share your personal information with other companies. We will retain all ownership rights to the information, and will not share information regarding your browsing data. We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so; in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it for the protection of our legal rights. We do not sell information to any other site or third party.

Choking / Suffocation Hazard

To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep our plastic bags away from babies, children, and pets.  Do not use our bags in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens.

Do not allow children to chew on or swallow yarn.

Image Sharing Policy

Occasionally we share images from the #knomadyarn #thefibreexperts tag on Instagram. Though we try to get in touch with the owner of every image shared, sometimes we make mistakes. If you feel an image was shared without your permission or you’d like us to remove an image you own for any reason, please Direct Message us or drop us a line at info@selected-yarns.com. Maybe you changed your mind, that’s all good! Our #1 priority is to respect your wishes.

PRICE SCALE

For orders below €100 we charge a surcharge of €10.
Bulk prices: Orders above 750€ total value we offer a 5% discount. Orders above 2000€ total value we offer a 10% discount.

For larger quantities please ask for individual quotations.
