How to Join the Wholesale Program

Have you heard about the Knomad wholesale program? Today on the blog we are going to go through the ins and outs of the wholesale program as well as the benefits of joining! Prepare to stock up on lots of skeins of soft, and squishy bare yarn for your business. This program is open to fibre based, registered businesses within the US or Canada.

The main requirement to join the wholesale program is being a registered business in the US or Canada. The wholesale benefits cannot be shared among businesses. Each business must have their own account and cannot share.

The main benefit of being a member is access to wholesale pricing on all of your favorite bare yarns! This discounted pricing is an exclusive perk to wholesalers. The prices vary based on the quantities ordered and specific inquiries and linesheet requests can be directed to customercare@knomad.com. Members of the wholesale program also receive free shipping on orders over $175 within the continental US and free shipping on orders over $250 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada.

Another benefit of joining the wholesale program is that members receive sneak peeks of new yarns! This is in addition to seasonal promotions and a one-time welcome discount. The Knomad Rewards perks also apply to wholesale orders.

To join the wholesale program, you can find the application under the Wholesale tab at the top of the page or click here to go to the application. The application requires some basic information like your contact and account information and your reseller identification information from either the US or Canada. At the bottom of the application there is a notes section for you to share anything relevant about your business with Knomad. Any questions that you have or notes about the kinds of yarn you are looking for to suit your business needs or anything else relevant to your business application can go in this section! After you finish your wholesale application, you can expect to hear back from the Knomad Customer Care team within 1-2 business days about the status of your application.

So know that you know how to apply and what the program entails, who is this program for? The simple answer is registered businesses who use a lot of yarn and want to save money. This could be a local yarn shop that dyes their own skeins in house or an indie dyer working in small batches and selling online. Buying bulk bare yarn is also great if you are teaching classes on fibres and yarn dyeing as part of your business. As an artist and business owner myself, I use yarn in my finished art and have been buying wholesale supplies for the past few years and it is a convenient way to stock up on my favorite materials at a great price.
